Book 02
The Moonlit Tracks
Some visitors only come out after dark.
Something walked past the Lodge while everyone slept. The evidence is right there in the morning dust: a line of prints heading toward the ridge.
This time the clue is a shape, not a colour — and shapes can be measured, matched and followed. The Brighttails discover that the valley has a whole second life that begins after sunset.

Locations in this story
Brighttail Lodge
Home base. A timber veranda, a dusty step, and the place where almost every Brighttail adventure begins.
The Whistling Trail
A narrow sand path between the grasses. It holds prints beautifully — which is exactly why it matters.
Moon Ridge
A pale rock shoulder above the plain. After dark it catches the moon and the tracks lead straight toward it.
