The studio
Brighttail Studios Ltd is a small independent publishing studio. We work slowly and deliberately: one story at a time, each built around a single idea worth practising. THE BRIGHTTAILS is our first series, a planned run of ten picture books set in Kijani Valley.
Every book is a self-contained mystery solved by observation rather than luck — tracks in the dust, a feather in the grass, a sound at dusk.

Madis Neemelo founded Brighttail Studios to write the kind of books he wanted to read aloud: warm, unhurried and full of small details that reward a second look.
He writes and directs the series, shaping each story around family, curiosity and the quiet habit of looking closer — so every book rewards being read together, and read again.
